Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2025-01-25T02:17Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
STEREO A: PLASTIC
Activity ID: 2025-01-25T02:17:00-IPS-001 (version 3)
Quality of ICME Signature: 0 (weak signatures)
Note: Increase observed in B_total following a data gap in STEREO A IMPACT/PLASTIC data. Arrival may have occurred during data gap, which lasted from 2025-01-24T18:09Z to 2025-01-25T02:17Z. There was a slow increase in B_total beginning around 2025-01-24T06:00Z with values increasing from ~4nT to ~6nT. Fluctuations in the magnetic field components are visible following the data gap and may be evidence of a flux rope. The CME:2025-01-22T11:36Z is the only CME with an estimated arrival time at STEREO A within the data gap timeframe, with an estimated arrival time of 2025-01-24T23:06Z.
